Burke on the other hand is but one of many undersized volume chuckers. He can get hot once a month. That´s it. He was out of the league for a reason. Among small Mavs guards in the last couple of years he easily ranks last. Yogi Ferrell for example was way better.

I just believed in the player I saw against the Clippers in the bubble, that's all. The Mavs hadn't had and still don't have someone capable of being that quick with the ball and making good decisions. If he can't be that player consistently, then he's not good enough. At the time, I felt that sustaining it for the duration of that series was enough to take a swing on him, and I seriously thought he'd challenge Brunson for time this past season. I was wrong about that, and have admitted it 1,000 times.
But, they STILL don't have that player here. That's all I'm saying. At least there's the chance that Burke can bring that, no matter how small. All Boban can do is not run and not defend the pick and roll. And, to be fair, he can be Luka's friend, which I'll admit is not nothing.
