Sam Stetz gave the most important answer...it is an ending contract and he can't be traded in July.
I tried to think through something involving an extension as he is currently eligible to be extended. The contract limit is 3 years for an extend and trade (including the current season, so two new seasons). That sound promising. But, you can't Extend and Trade if the transaction occurs after the season. Well crap...seemed like we were on a role.
Next question...could Miami extend him and trade him to you before the season begins. There is a six month rule if you include certain provisions (the size of raises for instance). But, if you don't include those things, it appears that Miami would have to hang onto him for 90 days or until 12/15, whichever is later. So, that doesn't work either. Sorry, I tried.
