From what I get when I see Lauri playing defense is he is he lacks the lateral quickness, but KP isn't any better than Lauri on the perimeter. I would even give Lauri the edge over KP with regards to defending guards and small forwards.
We all know KP's biggest strength is in rim protection, even the most recent version of KP is a better rim protector than Lauri. But it's not really about KP's superior length that makes him better than LM.
Lauri just doesn't even try.
Maybe that can be fixed with a new team, specially if that team has Dirk on it.
