Nah, this (if even accurate, would love to hear the audio) is two people (one of whom is a team employee) trying to sell the fan base on everything that's happening, which is fine.
But, if it was really this bad, the dude would've been out a long time ago, and he wouldn't have gotten a new job less than a week after leaving. Common sense.
