This is a seriously underrated point.  Dame wanted Kidd.  Giannis really didn't want Kidd fired.  Stars want to play for him.

I'm really warming up to this idea.

His contract runs for like four more years. By the time he gets to ask out Luka probably has already done the same.

Also: we still won’t have the assets. That issue won’t go away anytime soon.

No, I really don’t see a positive angle to Kidd being the new headcoach. He failed everywhere in that role.
