The timeline just wasn't right between Luka and RC. Obviously Luka naturally has a lot of growing up to do and I don't mean that in a negative way. Everyone approaches things differently at age 22 compared to when they're older. In 5-10 years, he will probably look back at these 3 years under RC and realize that maybe he shouldn't have gotten as angry at certain things and handled things better on his part.
Just look at Kidd, who also clashed with RC early on. If it was the younger version of Kidd, there is no way that would have ended well.
