The problem from my seat is that it seems that unless he is engaged and getting shots offensively then he doesn't engage defensively.
I felt like when he was HAPPY to be back from ACL and out of NY he played GREAT D most of the time....then when he learned how much he didn't like playing with Luka and for RC, his D disappeared.
