The hype say you are one of the top guards in the NBA, you just went to the ECF, and you start crowing about beating Larry Frank Nobody from the Y? Why are you even playing in this? Ya, this looks like high insecurity to me (I guess you could say it’s overly extreme competitiveness). A top guard in the NBA should carry himself with more confidence than that, but who am I to want professionals to be more professional?
Also, why is the crowd reacting like he won the NBA championship?

I am a Bagley fan and I see no reason why he cannot have a similar career path as Julius Randle if he can get healthy. His defense is really poor so far though.
I just don't think the Mavs have the assets for him. I don't think he is a fire sale candidate. I also think Dallas would be the last place they would want to move him to if there are other comparable options.

I could see turning Bagley into a Kanter type role. I've always wanted to run a second unit through that type of player. The problem would be if he could accept that role.

Does he think he can force the Blazers to buy him out of his contract for super cheap? I didn’t think there was any sort of contract renegotiation to lower the amount owed to a player to facilitate a trade.

I listened to the Lowe Post yesterday with Jonathan Givony and Mike Schmitz. It was an enjoyable listen.
A few things that caught my attention is Givony brought up is a sign and trade with Lonzo for Brogdan. Lowe said he heard similar. Not sure if it was legit though.
Lowe doesn't believe Shai is available. Not buying that report in silly season.
Lowe said there has been a lot of chatter of Holmes resigning in Sacramento. I believe that means Sacramento has a deal to clear salary (my take).
A lot of talk of the Memphis/NO trade and Golden State options.
