So far we have covered:
- JRich with 95 % thinking he is gone
- Brunson with basicaly 50-50 split
- Hinton with 60 % for staying on only 10 votes
- Green with 87 % staying
- THJ with 65 % thinking he is gone
- JJ Redick with 100 % saying he is gone
- Bey with 70 % saying he stays
- KP with surprisingly 80+ % thinking he stays
- Powell with 66 % thinking he stays
- Maxi with 60 % saying he is gone
How about WCS?
I think paying 30 mil to your first center, 11 mil to the second one and BaE to the fourth one is a huge waste of assets and it makes very little sense to pay WCS 4 mil to be a third string center. I think Mavs will operate under the cap and those 4 mil will be needed. That's why I vote WCS will be gone.

He's a cheap and more-effective-than-posters-here-give-him-credit-for center who would likely flourish more with Kidd as coach than RC. He's as good as Powell at this point (quantitatively speaking; their skillsets are somewhat different at this point) but much cheaper. I would hope they would value retaining him more than D Powell or Maxi. If he's gone, I hope it's because we added two great frontcourt guys *and* KP is still here. Failing to retain him at his rather cheap contract doesn't make a lot of sense otherwise.

Best way to move forward is sans Powell and with WCS as your backup. Boban can be the 3rd string just fine.
I voted yes because of the above. However, I think we will probably move on from him for need of his salary because a Powell trade will not materialize.

I don't care too much about 3rd stringers at the moment. I want to see what the top of the roster looks like first

Third stringers? If WCS is back, it will be as the starting center's backup.

That doesn't seem like a slam dunk to me

WCS isn’t a bad value at his contract, but some players have to go so Nico and Kidd can bring in their guys.

+9.4 net rating. Physically similar to Tyson Chandler.
If Kidd has input I think he stays, though that's easier if we find a way to lose Powell

Tricky question. I am not a fan of Willie but he drastically outperformed my expectations this year and produced much better than my preferred choices last offseason. He is on a good contract. So he can either be a solid bench piece or moved in a future trade. I just don't think I will ever trust him and one of my goals is for us to be more physical and finding that player would probably means Willie is not brought back as I don't think Powell is particularly moveable at this point. I also think Carlisle may have gotten the best out of him. We will see.
So my initial thought was to get that 36 million in cap space this offseason. Sign someone for 22-25 million as our big get and then find another player at 11-13 million. And worry about our backup center later.
Tough question though.

I choose KP, THJ, and DP. And of course Burke.
