I do trust that Fish has access to people in the organization. Call me crazy, but I do. What he does with that information isn’t always something I enjoy consuming.
You are free to believe what you want, but what I find farfetched is the idea that Fish would even know who Christian Wood was without someone feeding him the name.

Weather the Mavs were interested in Christian Wood is irrelevant. The thing is if we were not then we need to ask why weren't we. He is a legit big which matches what we do offensively. As I pointed out in my prior post you do have to do Monday morning quarterbacking on the decision makers in for the MBT.
I myself still have faith in them but I am starting to question WTF are we doing. Dwight Powell is a one dimensional player and offers nothing other than his pick and roll execution. Outside of that he is a very limited player and I continue to question why he is considered a core piece.
Between the sample size of Dwight Powell and the lack of big man talent on the roster outside of KP I am extremely worried about what we are doing.

Which is it, relevant, or irrelevant? Also, what does the weather have to do with it?

Book on Christian Wood for a while was super talented upside but personality and attitude issues. Thing is young men do sometimes grow up and mature. Other teams may not have been so sure of that.

Morey is honestly a moron if he doesn't trade Ben Simmons for Harden.

PORZINGIS TORE HIS ACL 34 MONTHS AGO AND STILL ISNT PLAYING!!!
You're likely going to have to take a risk to acquire a borderline star, like you did with KP. Glad I dont get paid the big bucks to decide if Oladipo is that guy. But I would've definitely done 18+THJ type package for him. That wasn't even taking much of a risk IMO.

Yeah I mean you look at the Mavs' assets... we have zero chances to trade for a star unless he has question marks. Load management during the regular season is just smart. In the playoffs you have a lot more rest time.

So that isn't even an apples to apples or a rational comparison.
Dipo is specifically having to rest the knee that was injured 22 months ago because of how completely devastating that injury was....his knee will NEVER be the same.
KP on the other hand had a torn ACL (something much easier to recover from than a quad tendon tear) in one knee 34 months ago and is sitting out now because of a completely separate contact injury in the other knee.
But go ahead and ignore facts and reality if you so desire. Thankfully the Mavs management will actually look at the facts.

I wouldn't want two injury question marks as core pieces on the team. Dipo has the added "benefit" of being a locker room disrupter to add to his health woes.

Hmmm, it seems tome it is all based on that report that his tendon tear is 2nd worst injury in sports.
If he looks good, and as athletic then I really don't believe that, it most likely mean he will be a Kawhi for his rest of career (both had quad injury, quad tendinopathy is more of a bitch of an injury btw. From personal experience)
Comparing that to KP who had ACL at 7'3, I would argue it is same risk tbh.
That said,I simply believe you don't invest in 2 injury prone core players, one is enough. We have KP for that tbh.
That is why I am sole member of team "reload" assets, simply keeping our draft picks until we pay the Knicks, or at least till 2022 summer, when we will have the ability to trade 3 picks and have KP contract close to end while having clearer picture of his health long term.

Who says you are alone on that team?
That is HIGH on my list at this point. With Giannis and Gobert locked up, I see very few targets that I like.
