2019-20 Around the NBA: Archived
Wow, Harden has been horrible first 2 games he was 2-17 from 3 tonight.  Russ has carried them first 2 games so far.  Amazing seeing the same Rox fans who trashed him all the sudden he is great and his triple doubles are not stat padding. Speaking of he had one tonight and they pulled out a close win:

I have a gut feeling that Trae Young will join Luka on the Mavericks in the future. Mutual respect ✊

Pelicans and Sacramento dug themselves a little hole with a 0-3 start. Especially the latter not looking very good.

Atlanta won 2 in a row and another monster game from Trae Young.

Phoenix appears to be much better. Baynes bringing the needed toughness

Phoenix is shockingly competent. Do they have a new coach or something? Rubio+ Baynes are top class pros/teammates and above average defenders, but that alone can´t explain such a shocking turnaround. Kaminsky is also another example of a former lottery pick finding his role.

Sacramento looks completely lost to me. If I had the under on their win total, I´d already be making vacation plans.

Rubio completly changed their offense. Really underrated as a ballhandler and passer. No more iso chucking with him in control of the pace.

True. But he wasn't even playing against the Clips.

I think Kings messed up big time with coaching change.
They were on there way to be competent again, best lottery team last year with very young roster. Renewals takes long, coach changes etc and boom they are bad again.

I think Luke Walton would need to go back being assistant again if he fails with them. I don't think he is ready for being a coach yet.

I really wish we could go get Aminu. Would be solid and could provide some defense. Orlando isn't going anywhere and he is on a solid contract.

No thank you, he is same as DFS imho. Orlando however desperately needs a shooter or two. The amount of bricks they throw at Atlanta yesterday was enough to start building a brand new arena. Horrible, horrible shots, even when open. Fultz looked like a sharpshooter compared to others.

Bamba might have extreme physical predispositions, but he is completely lost on both sides of the court. Based on this start of the season, Fournier and Isaac would be the only two players I would be interested in from that team. Gordon perhaps too, but neither Isaac nor Gordon are SF which they are forced to play. They need to trade a couple of their PF/C for a couple of shooters.

Dear Lord.

WE knew they would be interesting but they gotta be the early pick for "which of these 8 teams in the west aren't making the playoffs?"

Good for us.

We all knew they aren't anymore.

They lost half their team and are hardcapped.
They might be back next year with Klay. But this will be a rebuilding year.

That's a by product of being hard capped and having their 2 most consistent bench players gone. I for one hope the Warriors never figure it out this season and just rest Curry so we have one less team to worry about.

Might end up being our best win of season.  But I expect GS is in for lots of losses and lots of teams will have their best game vs them.  Shows Curry can’t carry a team, and they still have Green.  3 techs on GS so far its gonna be a long season for them.  Thunder are not that good, but GS is gawd awful.  How any pundit picked them for playoffs lol.

DLo is terrible....I stand by that judgment I made from years ago. Last year was an anomaly.
