Free agent sharpshooter Tim Hardaway Jr. will be signing with the Miami Heat to provide the organization with the spacing needed for Giannis Antetokounmpo, league sources tell me.

Would have assumed that he can get closer to MLE money. Arguably had the best season of his career next to Jokic.

Maybe he could've...maybe he wanted MIA.
Was this the minimum? The BAE? I'm so out of touch with this exception levels, all of a sudden.

Probably eats into their MLE. As far as I can tell they can use ~12m + vet mins.

Crazy, his old man, Tim Sr won't allow him to wear his retired number #10. A number Jr wore most of his career. He'll wear #7 instead.

His dad said he'll change his mind once his son learns to dribble.

THJ took some serious abuse on this board back when he was a Mav.
But, he’s actually a serviceable player.
Just need reasonable expectations about what he can and cannot do.
Can’t put him on the floor with Luka.

BarryJackson: Tim Hardaway Jr. is going to wear No. 10 after all. Last week, Hardaway said he would not permit his son to wear the No. 10 jersey that the father wore when he played for the Heat, but he has changed his mind now.

I don't see why it was an issue, to be honest. Tim Sr just being selfish. Larry Nance Sr let Jr wear his retired #22.

I guess Timmy learned to dribble over the weekend.
