I like the pick. I think Morez will do very well for the Mavs. Nobody knows more about him than our new head coach. I'll trust them on this one.

But honestly, I always hated the whole let's get a guard in the draft.
BPA all the way, and that was clearly their strategy.

Flagg/Johnson/Washington/Healthy Lively would be an insane defensive frontcourt, arguably potential to the best in the league.

I´m actually thinking they´ll small ball five some with Flagg/Johnson/Washington and switch everything. Nico´s vision.

He's a small ball 5 that can guard 1-5 and is an athletic freak. 

Really interesting pick. Makes all our bigger wings a bit more expendable now, and Gafford.

I wonder if Schmidt had much say over this pick.  This is a typical Masai pick.

The No Ceilings guys were just talking about visiting with Schmitz back when he was still in Portland about Morez.  They were high on him and passed it onto Schmitz and they said Schmitz just flashed a knowing smile back at them.

If he's indeed their choice and not a trade down pick for another team, I'm fine with it. He fits in the modern game and there is upside there with his shot.
