NBC averaged 7.2 million viewers for its return to the NBA Playoffs this season, up 72% vs. the comparable coverage last season. Going into the NBA Finals, nine of the top 10 (and 17 of the top 25) most-watched playoff games this season were on NBC. That’s led by Spurs-Thunder Game 7 in the Western Conference Finals on Saturday night, which drew 15.9 million viewers for the best NBA conference finals audience (East or West) since Warriors-Thunder in 2016.

Interesting... "I've talked with (Jalen Brunson's trainer)...they do this drill that he calls the Wemby that he like holds this gigantic broom to try to block his shots so that improves his arch. When he's going up against Wemby it's like a normal workout routine" - @MarkG_Medina

The defensive dogs for the Spurs are going all out tonight. Let's see if the kids can do it for four quarters.

Castle with a dumb 3rd foul with 7+ left in the half. As much as I hate to admit it, KAT has been great.

Tough to believe, I know. He has been one of the very best and most impactful players throughout this entire postseason.

All that effort on defense and double teams leading to the Spurs getting killed on the glass. Props to the Knicks second unit role players coming up big. While I think Fox has played well, I wish he'd use his veteran presence to settle the Spurs offense more often.

Wemby takes some horrible shots in the clutch.

Yeah, bad showing from Brunson tonight, especially in the 4th. Almost can't blame him with the way the refs were letting those monsters defend. What a physical game!!!
In the end, SA just looked like they aren't ready to win on this stage, imo.

Knicks are on a serious run. 13 straight wins and 9 straight on the road. If they sweep, this may go down as the greatest run in playoff history. I can’t believe we're talking about the Knicks of teams. Wemby's turnover passing to Castle was a killer. This game was played out of the 80's and 90's with the physicality.

Knicks just better. They have all of the tools to neutralize the Spurs...depth, size, experience, shooting. Their Big-4 is better than the Spurs Big-4. And the depth advantage that the Spurs were supposed to have has been meaningless because their bench has given them nothing outside of Harper.
Keldon Johnson is one of the worst 6th Man of the Year winners ever. Sure, I guess he deserved it based on stats but in terms of playing style, he's really not that good of an offensive player and these playoffs have exposed him

Watching this series I know I keep asking myself how the hell he won the award. Spot on.
Knicks going to go undefeated in the playoffs? I know this shouldn't hurt as a Mavs fan, but boy does it ever.
Are we ready for KAT to be Finals MVP?

Wemby with that boneheaded critical turnover after getting that defensive rebound was the primary they lost the game.

Mitch Johnson and his rigid rotations...Another game where Harper is clearly the best guard on the floor for the Spurs but not getting enough minutes and touches. At least he wasn't benched in the 4th quarter.
They have played almost 20 playoff games in this run and he still hasn't even tried to find a solution for the Kornet minutes. Three veteran bigs on the bench that aren't getting any minutes. Various small ball options. But he refuses to make any changes.

No clue where to put this. Donnie was mentioned in the other thread. Wondered what he was doing these days. Turns out that he partnered up with Luka to buy a team in Italy.
