Hurley is quirky as hell. He says things that'll have you scratching your head at times. I don't see him adjusting well to the egos some of these NBA players have.

Just looking at X's and O's LaRoche is super intriguing. Pick and roll frequency and efficiency across the league is down. The days where teams could just spam 1-5 pick and roll are over. He was ahead of the curve when it comes to this trend. No screen offense. Motion/read and react. High pace. More passes. Less dribbling. Focus on ball reversals and cuts.
Probably too big of a swing for the headcoaching job but the Mavs need more than just a guy that can manage relationships. Need to be innovative. Need to be ahead of the curve when it comes to new trends and schemes. All in on a younger coach with innovative ideas.
