AROUND the NBA:
The Hornets survive. We'll see how they fare in the next game.

CORRECTION: 2 minutes of regulation AND ALL OF OT.

Acting like Kon was anything other than maaaaaaaybe the 5th factor in Charlotte's turn around is a narrative basketball myth in the making.

Oh, and we should all be rooting for the Blazers so that the Mavs get a higher Suns' 2nd rounder.

Even more so since MEM was playing a bunch of end-of-bench guys, 2 ways and 10 day contract guys. I guess they get the award for hardest tank job, but it feels bad because of how they did it. If it was game 32 instead of 82, Silver would have thrown a fit.

If karma is real, then DAL gets to jump over them into the top 3.  Cool

LaMelo grabbed Bam's ankle while he was falling out of bounds. Bam hurt his back, and didn't return. Ball should have been called for a flagrant if you ask me. Borderline dirty play. If Bam played, Miami would have won. Outside of that, it was a great game.

Kon is a bluff

Cooper should win it, but it will still be a close vote. The ROY is a regular season award. Playoffs and Play-ins don't count. So Kon's poor shooting performance won't matter. He a least gets another game to play.

This rule needs to be changed. Play should have stopped.

This is interesting. Here's a new tool that allows you to step into the role
of GM with any team. You can start with the Heat, since they've been
eliminated. Or any team you choose.

This was the last time the Hornets won a playoff game.

Fun game last night.    I know it is sort of playoffs, but man the Mavs had no games like that this year.  You could feel the tension.  I miss those type of games.  Hopefully this is the last year where the season if filled with meaningless games.

I hate the social online thing of knocking Kon to prop up Cooper. I get it.   I just think Kon has been awesome this year.

It doesn't affect their second round pick,

Mavs dropped to 10 in the lottery. Decided not to make any trades, but this gives a lot of options to do so at the TDL.

Looks like Riley still has a lot of pull with NBA HQ.

Not saying another look isn't warranted, just wonder how may other teams would get the same consideration.
