AROUND the NBA:

If you live in Tennessee, you have to pass through Arkansas to get to Missouri, where weed is legal.   I agree though.  Avoid Arkansas if you don't look like a redneck.

Cross county is nowhere close to a path from Memphis to Missouri. About an hour up I-55 gets you there and keeps you out of small town jurisdictions (mostly).

My brother is a Grizz fan and he says Clarke is probably injured more than Ja, so maybe he's traveling with cannibis for pain management...

And Luka out with a hamstring injury? Tough one, with multiple devastating losses.

Kinda feel bad for Luka but it was bound to happen. He's always out there in blowouts trying to rack up stats.

Kinda backfired, if that was his real motivation. He's going to end the season stuck on 64 games played, one short of the minimum requirement for awards. I'd like to think this opens the door for Jokic to win another MVP (in a fair world it would be maybe his 5th-6th in a row), but it will probably go to SGA.

Wemby is making a hard push. Spurs are a ridiculous 27-2 in their last 29 games, and they're still 2 games behind OKC. Goes to show you OKC knows it has to hold them off for home court, because they've had their number this year.

Cheering an injury should get you booted from a game.

They are filing some kind of exemption that will still make him eligible.

Giannis causing drama cause he's too soft to ask for a trade.

[Charania] Both Antetokounmpo and the Bucks have told league investigators different stories: Milwaukee informed the NBA that it doesn't believe Giannis is ready and actually wants to play; Giannis informed the NBA he wants to play but the team will not medically clear him, sources said.

Bucks might as well play him. They are not getting out of 10th anyway. At least give the fans the chance to boo him a little on the way out. What a shitshow this has become.

And I´m not saying this, so the Bulls get another game cushion and don´t try to outtank the Mavs. Tongue

Surely the Kings won´t go on an actual winning streak to tie Utah, when the other nine teams are on a combined 35 game losing streak. Not even the Kings.

All the talk around Wembenyama has been about him averaging like 24 minutes per game. I get the impression that will be held against him.

Ironically, I think Luka was going to win it this year. He and the Lakers were on a hot streak at just the right time.

Denver/SA is a war! Joker has 40, Wemby has 34. Denver trying to end the Spurs 11 game win streak. They're up 135-131 with 4.1 left. Denver won 136-134, they've won 8 straight. Hell of a game.

Dallas Mavs medical staff via Nico.

Lakers: We fear he has an oblique injury, can you do a scan to assess his availability.
Mavs: Everything looks fine.
Lakers: That looks like an imagine of a foot.
Mavs: Who are the medical experts here?
Lakers: Just saying why not use a scan of a healthy person, if you want to fake it.
Mavs: I told you we should have done that.
Lakers: Also that left foot has a broken bone.
Mavs: It´s a right foot, you morons. Who are the expets now.
Lakers: No, it´s a left foot.
Mavs: Dereck we need to talk.
