Been thinking all year "boy, I'm glad we didn't get him!"
He has really fallen off. Used to be a very good PG and a good defender.

Terrible call in Utah last night. The entire NBA is up in arms. Gobert with an obvious goaltending that miraculously doesn't get called. Portland then loses the game.

Terrible officiating through whole season. Horrible mistakes. This one against Portland is in a category a normal ref should have seen.
Bad refs are definitely a problem for NBA. So much money involved and such professionalism on all levels being destroyed by really bad refs. I dare to say refs are much better in Euroleague.

I mean we saw it last night against Washington how terrible refs plague the league every single game. I do not understand why the NBA forces 3 refs to be out there. There should be 5. 1 under the basket, and 4 at each corner. And each ref should be tasked to watch a specific thing. They also need a ref off the court that has instant video replay that can confirm/deny calls that are too close to call. And coaches should be allowed to challenge ANY call in the game. Refs should also be allowed to review specific instances during halftime. Like last night, the obvious offensive interference on Mahimi gave Washington an extra 2 points. Why should they be allowed to keep those points if it was such an obvious call? Refs should've went back and reviewed it at half time and taken those points off the board.

Why is instant replay so difficult for American sports?
Everywhere else in the world where they have replay, there's an extra umpire/referee sitting in front of a TV. If he sees something obviously wrong, he buzzes down to the court/stadium to stop play and change the call.
Here we need the coaches to challenge. Only certain calls are able to be challenged. All 3 refs have to stop the game, walk over the sideline, bust out a monitor from under some desk, put on headphones, stop the game for five minutes, and they still get the call wrong half the time. It's mind boggling.

Tennis replays are the most amazing thing I've seen. Takes literally seconds.
Of course line calls are a totally different animal than a subjective foul but you'd think other sports could implement the same technology. Especially baseball for balls and strikes.

New look T-Wolves, blasting the Clippers, 142-115 with PG and Kawhi in the lineup. They shot 26-44 from the 3pt line. 59% That sounds like a record in makes. Can anyone verify this?

I watched some of the XFL games today. First league I've ever seen get replay right. No coaches challenges but all plays are reviewed in the booth. If there was an important play that needed a closer look the booth would initiate the review. Here's the best part, for transparency they put the booth reviewer on camera during the review and mic him up so you can watch and hear everything he as saying as he's re watching the play. They didn't botch any of the plays they reviewed and they got it done quickly, it was amazing
Now I'll go back to rubbing my nipples about the Spurs getting smacked by the Kings earlier

They are over now. You can make a legit case that they´ll be the worst team in the West next year with DeRozan and LMA. Let that sink in, when you talk about the East having caught up.
Btw Knicks are 13-18 since they fired Fizdale, which translates to a 34 win pace. Hardly spectacular, but a lot different than the 14 win pace Fizdale had them on.

Seeing Bojan knock down game winner after game winner for Utah, it makes me a little sad the Mavs didn't try to grab him last summer. As much as i love what THJ has been doing this season, Bojan was exactly what we were looking for.
