I'm in the tank camp for now. I think that's the better path right now.

DLo seems like a solid tank commander.

It seems kind of inevitable that they will reach that conclusion.

I’m guessing they will want to see one more stretch with AD on the court before packing it in.

The D'Lo fools gold game. Christie should have pulled the trigger two or three times before handing D'Lo the grenade.

Perfect game for DLo. Entertaining and kept the game close, but also did a enough to prevent the W.

All these young players like Flagg and Christie have Wes Matthews syndrome. They are all clueless how to score in the mid range and make plays around the basket. All they are taught is shooting threes. That´s what makes Luka and Brunson so special, the brains, touch and improvisation.

Thank God we got rid of those two....lmao. Oh well. Time to focus on the current team and hope they can turn this thing around.

To borrow a term from Bill Simmons, the body language doctor in me did not like what I saw to start the 4th quarters. They look defeated. Credit to the players for battling back and forcing overtimes. I'm not sure what to make of the rotations and if it's a bit of trying to turn chicken**** into chicken salad or if the tank has already begun.

Its just not been any better after Nico firing, at least not with the players, if anything it does looks worse. What a bunch of mental mistakes from Flagg and Dlo and others at crucial times inthe game. We have lost the last three games, need to get playing a lot better otherwise this season will be lost in not too long. The fans have responded well tough to Nico firing, at least thats something.

I totally agree Mavs2021. With Luka and brunson gone, our basketball IQ is ten fold less. Also, there is no magic in the air. Its all gone. I get more and more the vibe this roster will be dissasembled big time.

It´s not to knock Flagg and Christie. It´s just something I noticed with many of the next generation. Flagg is still a baby. He will  learn a lot and given his work ethic, almost certainly will improve in all areas. BUT touch is something you have or you don´t. Therefore I think we desperately need that 2026 pick. Also Christie is shooting 45% from three. Nobody besides Hardy even lives in the same 3pt area code. They all live on the other side of the planet.

A great pass first PG can help a lot. I´m Team Brown since I saw his Team USA lob passes to Dybantsa.

They are just a bad team. The crowd was supportive. The bench was lively. Kyrie was engaged. It´s just that they are not very good without somebody putting all the pieces into their places like a head coach and a floor general.

You are also not going very far, when 14 of your 16 players shoot below 29% from three and your coach refuses to play one of the two players that actually shoots over 39%.

It's ridiculous that Coop had only 13 attempts and 14.9 usg% in almost 50' played, developing Flagg must be our #1 priority, at this stage it's irrelevant if we win or lose games imho.

And I would wait a little longer than just 13 games before labeling a 19 years old kid, ffs.
Brunson was 3 years older than Coop when he entered the league and still needed a lot of time to figure it out, just saying.

I'm not sure why anyone should have expected firing the GM would change a single thing in how the players play. The roster did NOT change. Nico was sent away so he couldn't do MORE damage, but his terrible trades and bad roster building didn't get undone by his firing (you get no do-overs in the NBA).

The FANS can now be more engaged in cheering for the players (instead of stopping to boo the GM in the middle of games), which should make the games more enjoyable.

But until they get another PG or 2 (which appears to await the return of Exum and/or Kyrie, it would seem, since Nico has AGAIN painted them into a corner with no money and no roster space), the wins will be hard to come by. The still-developing BWill is your top PG and your secondary guys behind him (or alongside, at times) such as Flagg, DAR, Nembhard are so inconsistent in running an NBA offense very well.

Dodged one. Whew! Can you imagine getting a meaningless win, lowering your chances for one of the draft’s 3 aces, and increasing OKC’s chances? That would have been bloody stupid.

Some good DLO moments. I just feel in his two best shooting games (this one and Detroit) I just don't care. When he is hot he is exciting, but I just find it boring and short term. Maybe just me.

It is really tough to run a competent offense with limited creation and shooting, but let me just say our offense system leaves a lot to be desired. Not a lot of movement and seems like a lot of your time and my time. Maybe it is hard to do much because they would probably turn it over anyway. l also think our points aren't getting enough good looks for our centers. I know we don't have Luka anymore but they are not getting enough touches. Nembhard is probably #3 now and it is probably more important to get a good look at the top 2, but I am more interested in seeing more of Nembhard as the season progresses. Size will always limit him and may be the determining factor but he will get teammates open looks and may actually be better on defense then the other two despite being 5'1.

Sort of an EH game from both Max and Cooper. Cooper had some real nice reps late, but both were sort of careless with the ball and really did not create much open looks when they had the ball.

Cisse continues to be a bright spot and making the most of the opportunity. Marshall was also good. I really wish we could see how he fits in with a full team. I am trying to see if he is a long term fit here. If he can be a threat from three, it is much more likely he can be.

It's hard to explain what Kidd is doing (coaching is honestly too much), this team is so boring to watch.
Iso after iso after iso ecc ecc

In 10 games i don't think i saw a simple p&r or another basic basketball scheme.

Kidd is a mediocre coach and his career spoken for himself and at this point our PO runs where more about Doncic/Brunson/Irving than some magical Kidd potion.

Anyway he is perfect this year, with him & D-Lo we will have a top pick for sure. Great.

Next year promote him in some desk and pull him out from basketball court, he is the perfect example of a fantastic basketball player Who can be a terrible coach.

This is classic Dlo (above link). I've said this before, but I've just never seen someone who is running a team at PG have such poor judgement. I keep thinking he's going to get it at some point, and he never does.

He can look so good when it doesn't matter, and so bad when it does.
