@BannedMacMahon
Sources: Mavericks governor Patrick Dumont has requested medical data indicating that Anthony Davis is not at risk of aggravating his left calf strain before giving a green light for the 10-time All-Star big man to return. Will miss seventh straight game tonight.

Kind of excited to watch Brandon Williams and Flagg play together again tonight.

Even when cleared, I think he needs to go into training camp mode.   Not being able to work out much this offseason and now having a calf issue can't be good for conditioning.   Pictures can trick, but he doesn't look in top shape now.   It is a sure way to get injured again.

Absolutely right. Get him in tip top shape, whether the idea is to trade him or see if he fits here. The team doesn't seem ready to benefit from even the best version of his play right now, anyway.

Kinda ironic AD came in overweight after that being one of Nico's biggest complaints about Luka. AD certainly didn't do Nico any favors.

Cooper Flagg needs to earn his Mavs wings and start some beef with Booker. Let the healing process begin!

This is how I envisioned the Mavs playing this season. Run, run, run.

I actually think we need AD and Klay back for the tank to slow us down and mess up everything offensively and defensively. Big Grin

 Flagg looks so much better in his natural position with some movement and pace on the floor. Flagg/Washington/Gaffely makes so much more sense than AD.

I’m digging Cisse!

I’m really glad they didn’t bring Kai Jones back instead.

I love him. You could do so much worse as a first forward off the bench! Such a versatile player.

Naji has been much better this season. This is the guy I thought they were getting last year. His offense is about the same, but he’s been very good on the defensive end to start the year. Overall, he’s just a player you want on your team.

The tankers aren't gonna like it but we're one small winning streak away from being the 8th seed

He's my favorite and I was concerned when we lost DJJ, but Naji can get buckets for himself which the team needs while so shorthanded at PG.

It´s so obvious the Flagg/Marshall/Washington/Gafford/Lively line-ups will work in most variations, while AD literally works with no one.
