I doubt Riccardi/Finley will make any major decisions. They've got to have someone though in the short term until they can find their guy.

This part was predictable, and doesn't worry me. 

They're making this move soooo incredibly early so that they can get the guy in place prior to the trade season, I assume. And, if not, you can bet Dumont and probably Cuban will be more hands on until this is all resolved. Not ideal, but certainly not a huge blow for those who've been hoping/praying for this outcome for 9 straight months.

I've got to hand it to everyone who didn't let up. Once Harrison survived the summer (I still don't understand how), I thought for sure he was safe for the duration of AD's time here at a minimum. Then again, I didn't think the team would start THIS poorly in my wildest dreams, and I'm sure that's a big part of this, but still - the people who beat this dead horse might have actually moved the needle on this one, so well done!

The insanely early timing of this leads me to believe they might hire one sooner than that. This is CRAZY early in the season. They didn't even let the team attempt to get healthy and play together for a stretch.
