Flagg's struggling with his shot, but a lot of criticism and mocking he is getting on X is unwarranted IMO. He does so many things well. I said pre draft that he didn't look 'generational' because those guys need to score at will in the modern NBA to be given that tag, and if generational is the bar he'll always be looked at as a failure because that hype IMO is too much. At the same time, I've always felt big guys with superior handles have a high floor. Some of the one / two dribbles and slithering around he is doing in the paint area and getting his shot off are not easy at all and it will be scary how good he can be in a few years time as his game and body matures.

My hope for him has always been a more motivated Wiggins. If he can do that, he'll be a terrific player for a long time to come. Anything more is a bonus.

The media painting him as the best American prospect since Lebron has really done him no favors.
