I’m seeing FGump’s vision for Williams, tbh.

…and that’s where Flagg is special. He’s a finisher, not an initiator.

Absolutely sick defense on Siakam by Flagg.

It’s so important for this team to push the ball in transition. It’s life and death. A good transition night from this team and they can compete with and beat a good team, but it’s also the way they have to play to compete with and beat bad teams.

A lot of people played well in this one, but I’m saying it now, proudly: if the Mavs win, Powell is getting my Dirkie vote.

Just wanted to say, I appreciate it when you Killer, (or really anyone), posts on game threads! I usually don't get to watch the game and have to follow along with just a box score. So checking in to see folks commentary helps me paint the full picture of the game!

Just me tonight. Happy to know someone is at least reading!

Smart foul there, to prevent the 3pt attempt.

Man, this thing has gotten closer than it should’ve.

Unreal. I can’t believe they didn’t get that rebound. I thought for sure Nesmith was gonna drain it.

All’s well that ends well!

Gross win. One more possession and we lose. Flagg was to passive on offense

I want to see what Flagg is made of. Does he play passively or respond with a bounce back game. Do Kidd and his teammates give him the space to be assertive. Most good to great players would bounce back tonight, with added support from their teammates and coaches. Im an optimistic knee jerk fan, so I’d bet Flagg’s overs.

Edit:  if I’m truthful I’m just a knee jerk fan, not a particularly optimistic one right now, but I’m still taking Flagg’s overs tonight.

Solid game from Coop. His PRA (points, rebounds, assists) prop line was 25.5. He had 29 and went over!  Well done.

He was better, I agree…but he was also a team worst -7.

Between his extreme young age, rookie status and Kidd’s infatuation with playing him out of position, I think we’re going to need to put our patient hats on.

I would like to see him on the court with Williams more.  Those two like to run.

Look for Kidd to continue starting Flagg at PG in the next game despite the fact that Williams and Russell are natural PGs. SMH. Does Nico have any influence on how the team should play?

I hope not.  But I agree we need to start, and keep, a real point guard on the floor...or a creator who knows how to pass and when to kick the ball back out.

Seems like Davis has an Achilles injury. Maybe not a tear but something is wrong. He’s going to miss alot of games and be at big risk of a tear. Should have traded him while they had the chance. Another Nico epic fail. His deadweight contract is going to be a franchise killer.

And Klay was 2-10. He’s got to go too. The Mavs franchise is bordering on a full implosion.

Klay is riding a Stallion most nights now. He has nothing left I bet. All jokes aside, he looks cooked. His contract what ever it is, won't age well.
