Desperate Mavs team at home against an average Toronto team but the Mavs are only favored by 1.5. I believe it to. Toronto will play hard and until proven otherwise not sure Dallas has shown fight yet or not get into several funk’s for 4-5 minutes on offense to erase any good they have done.

Klay looks much better in this one. Makes a big difference when he’s playable.

Lively is looking great on defense tonight, so far. He is changing shots every time the ball touches the paint.

Except for that miscue on the pass to Flagg (which I assume was the rookie running with the wrong spacing in transition), Russell has looked pretty good on both sides, too.

Thier best lineup is now on the court. See how it looks in G3

Just like the first quarter last game. Some good play, but at the end turnovers and not even contesting threes have made it a tie game. Next up a little dry spell like last game?

Why is Flagg sitting so long?

Man AD is so slow. I guess we are not going to see a made dlo layup this year.

We are seeing why Russell doesn’t play. He sucks

So frustrating to see Cooper bring the ball up, wait for one of the bigs to get in position at the top of the 3 point line ready to set a pick, then Cooper just throws them the ball and runs to the corner

I thought they looked much better with DLO on the floor. He generated good shots for himself and others. He missed a bunch of open ones early. 13 points, 4 assist, and +1 +/- in his 15 first half minutes.

It was the Mavs best half of basketball this season, and still pretty meh. Could be a long season of just watching and rooting for Cooper.

He just has to play 25 to 30 minutes a night.
Needlessly nerfing yourself if not

There may be a good team in there but it is not here now. They need to get Davis moving better. It is painful to watch him try to switch ends of the floor. Thompson has some Hardaway jr to his game. Him making his first two shots may not be the best thing long term for the game.
