Nembhard has nothing left to prove, so they're sitting him next to Flagg. The two futures of the franchise.

This is a tough game to watch without Nemby AND Flagg

Miles Kelly reaffirms my love for him. Such a good shooter.

He's on a two-way, yeah?

Are there 3 2-way contracts per team?
Kelly; Nembhard; and...
I think that possible 3rd probably goes to Cisse from my limited view.

I know Nembhard will probably play quite a few games with Dallas prior to Kyrie's return, but I hope they keep a few for the last month of the season because over extending KI is not a recipe for success before the playoffs start.

Kelly is legit.   Time will tell if he can become an NBA player, but a nice gamble.  He has such a nice release.  It is a quick release too where he doesn't need a lot of space.   Seems to play with a good pace.   He was noted as a good college defender too.   He has good size too.  Not the greatest athlete but he has a shot.

I hope they finish out the two way slot with another good player and add some G league veterans.   If they do, that could be a pretty fun team to watch.  I won't watch, but it would probably be much better than they typically throw out there.

I think there's a better-than-0 chance they will leave it open for now (it's not like anyone in SL really looked all that great) and use it as a fallback option for B Williams in case they have to waive him to open a space for Exum.

I still think their preferred plan must be to sell OMax (or Powell, or Hardy, or some combo) to BKN, maybe with cash. And I believe that unless someone pays a really high premium, BKN will be waiting to use their extra cap space for such purposes until late in the summer, which means we might not know the answer on how they will resolve it for some time.

But if they can't get that trade, then with B Will, if they both agree to do so, he can be on a 2-way early in the season, and use his 50 NBA games right from the outset (for which he will receive NBA minimum salary, same as the deal he's on now). Assuming he is healthy and made active every game, those 50 games run out right about the TDL. For that time period, the Mavs would have all 3 of DAR, Exum, and B Will as PG, which should be enough, and you would expect Kyrie will be back before then.

Then, a trade before the deadline could be one that clears a roster slot, allowing them to convert B Will to a 15-man slot on a rest-of-season deal if he's played well enough to justify it. Having B Will for even longer would offer the ability to depend less on Kyrie down the stretch of the season as he returns.
