With a Bradley Beal buyout being imminent, per a source, I’m anticipating he gives up $13.9M of his remaining $110.8M, which would then clear the way for the Suns to waive-and-stretch the resulting $96.9M over 5 years and duck both tax aprons
So where do you guys see him?
He would want to be a starter and show the world it was the Suns not working as a whole and not him forgetting how to play basketball, wouldn’t he?
Can the Nuggets offer a starting spot after all their trades?
Should the Mavs be interested…?

Miami. I always assume all these guys are going to Miami, because everyone wants to play there, and they're desperate to find cheap talent to stay relevant.

BEAL. Is there a role here? A space on 15 man? Is he open to min salary?
I imagine some or all of those are no, and it would take 3 yeses.

1) I think adding Beal AND Russell gets to diminishing returns territory most nights. I'm fine with Russell, Exum and Williams (unless an opportunity at a real asset that fits with the Flagg timeline presents itself).
2) I suspect he'll do better than the minimum, though I suppose getting stretch waived provides him the option of going wherever he wants, regardless of remuneration, but I'd bet it's hard for a guy like that (or Dame) to accept a minimum salary, status wise. I suspesct once the introductory press conference (where he'll be treated like Brad Beal) concluded, there would be subtle ways in which he was treated differently, and not in a way he's interested in abiding.

Of course you take him at the minimum. This team needs shooting and play-making. Only reason you are not interested would have to be character related.
He´d a perfect 6th man.

You look at Beal's stats and they are not bad. He just hasn't been healthy and not close to the salary he is being paid. I think he would help a lot of teams if bought out. He is not a fit for Dallas with the roster as is. PHX somehow thinks they are competitive in the west. Could they tell Beal we will waive you but you have to go East? is that Legal? That would help out the West a tad.
I read if they stretch buyout for 5 years, that PHX will be paying half the cap to two shooting guards the next 5 years. With Booker's extenstion and the Beal stretch buyout. That is tough. A more important question is how does PHX move Booker if they decide in two years that it is not working out. That is a tough salary to swallow, no matter how good the player is.

Clips got a steal would have thought they spend more to get Collins.

I think Beal probably would have been a better option than Dlo at the tax MLE, but I don't he would have come here and its too late regardless.

Grant Afseth is saying that the Clippers and also the Warriors are potential landing spots for Beal.

IF Beal were to want to come here, I would warrant it malpractice for Dallas not to figure out a way to make it happen.
In terms of fit, it's a bit wonky. But Beal can still score. He can still facilitate. His defense has never been a strong suit but he isn't a complete turnstile. Beal at 60mil a year with a NTC is the worst contract in the NBA.
Beal on a vet min??? It's ridiculous value. But I don't think the Mavs are serious suitors anyways. Beal gave up almost the exact amount of the current MLE and will most likely target a deal to make up that difference, not a vet min deal.

Clips "paid" Norman Powell, one of the best 6th man in the league. Miami actually really didn't give up anything of value to get him

Update: The Houston Rockets signed Dorian Finney-Smith to a four-year, $53 million deal, which is fully guaranteed the first two seasons, has a third-year non-guaranteed salary, and a fourth-year non-guaranteed salary and player option, league sources told @hoopshype.

The Portland Trail Blazers trade with the Boston Celtics has been reduced to a straight player swap without the previously reported two second-round picks going to the Celtics, a league source has told The Oregonian/OregonLive.
According to the source, a recent review of Holiday’s medicals revealed nothing substantial enough to warrant the trade being negated. However, there was enough there to lead the Blazers to slightly alter the terms of the deal.
Holiday, the source said, is considered to be healthy and will be working out this summer in preparation for the start of training camp near the end of September.

Wow...the Rockets have been rolling 7's for a while. Just smart move after smart move.

Or they found out he is 35 years with three years left on his contract. Kidding, but not kidding that maybe someone should of told Nico you could have held onto an early second instead of getting some far out 30 second round pick when physicals turned up bad.

You are half-joking, but I wouldn´t be surprised, if that´s how this played out. This was the first big trade and Portland gave up the picks. Since then in every trade the "Portland" got the picks. So they decided to find something on the medical to cancel the picks. It worked.

[Scotto] Update: The San Antonio Spurs signed Luke Kornet to a four-year, $41 million deal, which descends, is fully guaranteed the first two years for $21.45 million, has a third-year $2.55 million partial guarantee salary and a fourth-year non-guaranteed salary, sources told.

LOL
If I was a Laker fan, I’d be livid. Not only did you lose DFS for nothing, you lost him for essentially a 2 year 28mil deal.
