DLive has apparently also posted that pic to his Instagram. Gotta love it.

The viewers would win.

Kyrie > Fred
AThompson > KThompson
Flagg > GodKing (forgive me lord)
KD > Day-to-Day
Lively = Sengun

Udoka > Kidd
Rockets bench > Mavs bench

Ha. Love Lively. Houston is going to be good for a while. I hope the Mavs can be good again too.

BTW, what is wrong with Whitmore? I watched highlights of his from this past offseason. If you did not know anything, you would think he was one of the best players in the league. To see them add veterans to the team this summer, he must have something wrong with him. With that being said, if I was a team in the middle I would love to gamble on that guy. I am guessing I am wrong though. I am surprised instead of finding room for him, they are adding more veterans.

I agree with everything except KD being better than AD if we are assuming AD is playing. AD is a more impactful player on both ends of the court. If we are only talking reliability, I understand that view.

I'm fine with your take as well or if someone wants to call it a push.

Unfortunately, I'd have to say Houston. They're just as big with Adams, Sengun, and Capela. They're the best offensive rebounding team in the league. And they have better perimeter defense with DFS, Thompson, Smith and Eason. And KD can score in his sleep. If you don't play D, you're not playing for Udoka. That's why while talented as he is, Whitmore is not getting any burn.

It all depends on health and Flagg's development.  If Flagg is LeBron then it's Dallas.

Davis = Durant if healthy.
Irving > van vleet if healthy
Lively = Sengun if he develops
Flagg >a Thompson
Pjw= Jabari Smith

Gafford> capella
Thompson = next best on rockets

I don’t think that is the starting lineup either. I think Jabari smith starts and finishes most games.

Really interested in the playing time. They have Eason as well. Plenty of long athletic players that teams want but seems like a lot of mouths to feed.

Too many ifs.  Davis, Kyrie and Lively all have major injury concerns and Lively would need to be healthy and have significant development to equal Segun.  Its also asking a lot for Flagg to be better than Thompson in his rookie year.

Also, Houston is a coherent quality team that just got a massive upgrade at one spot (and improved depth).  The Mavs are just a collection of parts right now.  Thier top three guys have not played together, and with Kyrie injury and potential AD missed time they will have little time together by the playoffs.

Kyrie >> Fred
Klay << Amen
Flagg < KD
AD > JSJ
DLiv < Sengun

Kidd << Udoka
Mavs Bench << Rockets Bench

Gotta give the nod to the Rockettes.

I followed HOU closely last season.  Rumor had it that he got in screaming/pushing match with Green and Eason.  I think the general feel is that his teammates hate him.

I hope D-Liv will be good as Sengun one day... But i doubt it.

Probably we can win this series with everyone healthy despite Jason Kidd. But i'm not sure.

So… Nico’s not the problem, but Kidd is?

Best answer.  Looks close, which it should amongst teams at the top of a conference.

Don't really see Mavs as one of the teams in the top of the conference.  My guess is they struggle to stay out of the play in.

Are we talking regular season or playoffs.  Regular season, I think bottom end of the top six.  Playoffs, I think they at least make the conference semi's (which I'd define as top of the conference...which was what I was referring to).

Playoffs are a bit of a crap shoot.  It will partly depend on who they get in the first round.  But there are so many questions:

Will Kyrie be truly 100% by then?
Will AD be healthy?
Will Lively be healthy?
Will Flagg be above average starter in his rookie year at 18/19?
Will Dlo have a bounce back or will he be basically Dinwiddie?
Do we have enough creation on this team to compete in playoffs?
Will playing two centers get exposed in the playoffs?

Its hard to put this team in the top tier when we don't really know who they are yet.

Probably we have more chanches to win the lottery again (without picks) than make the WCF.
