The Sacramento Kings are trading Jonas Valanciunas to the Denver Nuggets for Dario Saric, sources tell ESPN.

There’s no additional terms in the trade between Sacramento and Denver, sources say. Straight up swap of Jonas Valanciunas for Dario Saric.

What is wrong with Sacramento? Ok, they do save a bit of money, but they are giving up a far better player. Why did they even trade for him a couple of months ago?

Sacramento and New Orleans are rudderless franchises.  Even Charlotte seems to have surpassed them in prudent decision-making lately.

That money part I think you nailed it. That’s why.


Also, just looking at their roster, they just aren’t good enough. Top to bottom all of their guys are better suited as 3rd options on better teams.
