Hm. Looking forward how they will work this one out. Do they have a TPE? Or is there an SnT in either the DFS or this signing?

Capela has fallen off, but it's hard to argue with that price

The Rockets don't have enough remaining in their mid-level to sign Clint Capela to these terms.

It looks like a sign and trade is coming, either with this deal or for Dorian Finney-Smith.

Please be THIS deal.

I want the Lakers to get NOTHING.

Honestly, the Rockets do have Jock Londale sitting there. His deal is about 8 mil for the Lakers. Fits pretty good with their remaining MLE.

Even still, I agree, I hope the Hawks get something out of Houston. HOU should want to deal with an Eastern conference team vs. making the Lakers better.

Yeah, there needs to be something coming. I assume Whitmore, but we will see.

Or they just pay someone a SRP to take Landale. Could even be a third team

I don't think Landale means anything to the Lakers. Or the SRP that they might get to take that deal

Clint Capela is going to return to Houston by why of sign-and-trade, sources say. The Rockets are sending a 2031 second-round pick swap plus cash to the Hawks, in exchange for helping facilitate the veteran center’s second stop in Houston.
