Pretty sure Nico is already at home, scouring the free agent pool for 35+ year old guards that can't pass or shoot, but play great defense.

Honestly we're getting to the point where I'm hoping we can get some crazy undrafted FA value.

Mavs can carry up to 20 guys this summer. Getting Proctor as an undrafted FA would be huge. Plus our summer league team would be stacked.

I don't think Proctor will go undrafted, but if he slips pass all this.
I can see it now, he'd get a 2 way on the Mavs.. if anything just to make Flagg more comfortable, and it helps too the Mavs need a PG.

If Jake Fischer is correct, then you are on the money and Proctor will not go undrafted.

Unfortunate that the Mavs couldn't snag him. But at the end of the day, the Mavs won the draft and captured the Flagg.

I won’t be surprised if Dallas doesn’t sign an UDFA to a two way. Maybe they bring back Gortman. Maybe their pick last year, AJinca. Or another older guy who has played in the g league. I expect they take their time too.

JFC that Grimes/Martin trade looks worse and worse. Yes, there's the missing #35, but Martin is also the 11th man, making $10 mil a year. The Mavs would have so much more flexibility with the Apron. Plus, I'd much rather have a young, friendly face for Cooper to acclimate as a rookie with like Proctor, who'd be making $1.5 million.
