Jason Kidd has changed and improved. Even last year, Kidd contributed to the team staying together, playing hard and finishing in perfect placement.
True, but Rick's final knife twist was inflicted us with Kidd as a head coach which helped send us down the path of Luka getting traded.

You will see how many games Kidd will win without Luka.
Probably Rick gifted Kidd to the Mavs as the kiss of the death... But it's ok, i don't think Harrison&Kidd will survive to next season. It's almost over. Finally.

I'm one of the biggest Kidd detractors. I've hated the dude since high school.
At the same time, dude coached this team to a WCF and Finals. He then had a generational talent traded for a player from the last generation.
Taking the emotion out of it, he's coached the roster given him quite well.
But Mathurin isn't a FA this summer of any kind. The Pacers' only FA of any concern is Turner and he wants to stay.
Well Damn. It kind of makes my plan for Brooklyn really hard to execute. Not sure how/when I got in my mind that Mathurin was RFA this summer. As they say…oops.

50 wins this season?
Wins with Luka:
33
42
42
52
38
50 last year, but how much credit does he get?
After consuming thousands of hours of NBA podcasts and articles this year, I am proud to say I did not watch one ESPN pregame show or NBA today. Looks like that will be a re-do next year.
At the February trade deadline, the Suns talked to a handful of teams about Durant without his knowledge. When he found out, just as the Suns and Warriors were nearing coming to terms, Durant blew up the talks. There was some disagreement within the team, sources said, about how that process was handled. It was one of the reasons new general manager Brian Gregory and Ishbia have repeatedly, ad nauseum, emphasized the promise of "alignment" in various news conferences since the end of the season.
Sure glad Nico didn’t handle the AD deal that way!

I was telling my buddy that for every mistake he makes, he doubles it with good plays.
2nd half: turns down an open three and forces Hali to take a late contested three that doesn't draw iron. Follows that up with a wing three, corner three, block, and a with a great cut.
