It would really help if him and the other French guy steps up. So far I like fears and the Illinois pg at 11. I have some concerns with both. Defense for both and fears size and the Illinois pg quickness.
If both are picked, I have secondary guys I like but think there is a drop off there. Mavs need some centers to go off the board early.

Anyone better for Nico to draft than a Coward...Cedric Coward. A player who bounced around a few times and last year was at Washington St. He only played 6 games after a shoulder injury. He has entered the portal and signed with Duke. Although, he is still in the draft at the moment. Sam Vecenie had him in the first round in his latest mock. 6'6 guard who has a really nice shot.

@NationMffl
With the NBA Draft Lottery 24 hours away, here’s some numbers on the Mavericks performance in it:
- 17 appearances in the lottery
- Have dropped in the lottery 6x
- Have remained in the same spot 11x
- Have never moved up in the lottery
Is this the year the NBA blesses us?

We have been asking this question for so long. I doubt it is happening

We'd have 2 centers on rookie contracts that would allow us to trade Gaff for a playmaker while keeping us strong and deep in the frontcourt.
I don't see any guard other than Harper doing much for us in the first or 2nd year and Nico is fully committed to winning now.
To achieve what Nico wants, we'll need a veteran replacement for Kyrie's lengthy absence.
If we don't get a top 4 pick, I'll be shocked if Nico keeps the pick on draft night.
I'd be perfectly fine with Malauch. Most seem to write him off as a Mavs pick but i'd take him, even if we dont trade Gafford.

We would be better looking at players to draft at #13 than #1 knowing our history. LOL.
I really like Flagg. I live outside Washington DC. I wonder if I would get interesting in the Wizards or the first time if they got the #1 pick.

Since Februrary 1st, the funniest outcome is the most probable. With that in mind, can't wait to look at guys right at #14.

Wizards haven't won 50 games in a season since 1979.
If we think Nico is torture (he is), the Wizards are the 7th ring of hell.

Ouch...Jase Richardson's official measurments are 6'0 1/2 barefoot. 6'6 wingspan. That is tiny though. He looked small at MSU. Tough measurement
Demin at 6'8 1/4 bareofoot and 6"10 wingspan
Fears at 6'2 1/2 barefoot and 6'5 wingspan...good measurement for him imo
Jakucionis is 6'5 3/4 barefoot with a 6'7 3/4 wingspan. Good measurement for him too.

Yes. Richardson is small. He's not even taller than his Dad, Jason, who's 6'6. I think he should have stayed at State.

Funny thing, he has a brother who is a senior in HS who is like 6'6. Size just skipped a kid. I don't think Nico takes a small guard.
Nico ahead of the game. Got ahead with pick 36 and got an injured player with years left on his contract. Smart.
Hollinger on NIL money keeping sophomore and junior players from declaring for the draft: "NBA scouts and execs have taken note. Expect late first-round and early second-round picks to carry less trade value than in other years."

Looks like we are going to have a Freshman and SR class (with international) due to NIL. I sort of like Murray Boyles. Just don't think the Mavs can draft another non shooter.

What we don’t have, in any meaningful way, are all the guys in between: the sophomores and juniors who decided to leave behind their remaining eligibility and turn pro. They’ve all but vanished. South Carolina’s Collin Murray-Boyles might be the only sophomore selected in this year’s first round. St. Joseph’s forward Rasheer Fleming might be the only junior taken in the top 40.

I'll be watching where Houston and SA end up in the draft. If they secure a top 3 pick, there's talk of a Giannis trade for both teams. SA has had lottery luck two years in a row.
