Wonder if Trae Young is a target.

He unironically would fit well next to AD/Lively/PJ/Klay. That lineup is big enough and defensive minded to cover his deficiencies.

This is a scenario where I think the team moves on from Kyrie, as unlikely as that is.

Caleb Martin has arrived. I can see why they wanted him, he's closer to the DJJ replacement defensively. Naji was supposed to be that guy but he is actually proving to be more of a good offensive player/scorer

Ok. How many of us watched the Derek Lively return game?  I watched the second half after some required work.

I watched on replay due to family commitments.

I have to say that AD is a monster basket defender. You can definitely see why he's been a consistent All Star and All Defensive team guy. He also moves like a SF sometimes. I wonder if that contributes to the injuries. Couple of times with the fade away wing jumper I had Dirk flash backs.

I do like that the team is still trying to share the ball and be unselfish with finding open looks. The big-to-big alley oops could prove hard to stop once everyone gets some playing time. This is almost like starting the season then having playoffs after just a couple weeks. If DAL is healthy while the other teams are tired/dinged up/injured, then there could be some fun to be had in the post season.
