What a debacle. There are no Dirkies at this point in the year, especially against teams who should beat us.

Here we go! Better game tonight. I like it when we have numerous options for the Dirkie. At least the starting lineup played like a starting lineup. Maybe they were embarrassed from the last game. This has been a team who doesn't win by flash and mirrors, but keeps grinding away until the rock is gone.

Anthony Davis is still not playing like I think he should. But he is rounding up a bit. Very good all around game tonight.

P.J. Washington had an equally good all around game. Right there are two options for a Dirkie.

Kai Jones. Man...I like this guy. Maybe he's finally hitting his stride. I seriously think he is a contender for a Dirkie...AND a player we should sign for next year.

Dinwiddie! I don't know if anybody has noticed, but he hasn't been calling his own number so much for several games now. Yeah, he can still score, but he is actually running the point for a change.

Klay Thompson is doing what he should be doing...mostly. A scoring threat--and his defense isn't bad at all...most games.

Naji Marshall didn't have as good a game as he has recently, but it was still pretty good.

Brandon Williams. Do we keep him, or not? That is a good question. I'm glad I don't have to answer it--But if I did!--I'd answer it then...

So who has earned my Dirkie? Kai Jones.

Its over my dude. We both knew the Mavs should've embraced the tank. Everyone in charge disagreed.

The Mavs could've had a solid draft pick. That is no longer a realistic possibility. Might as well embrace the mediocrity.

I will say, I am interested to see how Lively and AD look together. I wonder if AD is capable of throwing lobs to then big man.

Giving my Dirkie to Klay for a solid bounceback game. 5 threes on 50% shooting is an insane game for most, but felt like an average game for Klay. He also hit the game clinching FTs.

Overall, solid game.

I can understand what you're saying, but at this point we are damned if we do, damned if we don't.  At least we don't do a Rondodom award...

Tough one. Like all the options. Ideally next year we see the same...with AD shooting much better. The AD offense has not been very appealing to the eye. Need to give him time because he is not 100% and has been off for so long.

I am going to give it to Dinwiddie with PJ second. Dinwiddie needs to be in the role where he is driving and either finishing at the rim or drive and kick. This team is in desperate need of a player getting other shots. He has had a decent string of this lately. I have no idea what we do now that Williams can't play for a little while. The offense tends to pick up at the beginning of games when Williams comes in and Klay goes to the bench. Just adds speed and attacking to the lineup.

Pretty obvious AD is going at about three-quarter speed.  I assume he’s just being careful rather than just being physically limited.  Who knows.
