I must appreciate the play of our "deep" bench guys--since that's basically all we have left to play. 6 players in double figures. I wouldn't say we played the best defense in the world, but I guess we did enough.

I don't have much to say. Marshall has been playing fairly good for the last few games. Dinwiddie looked sort of check out at the beginning of the game, but he picked it up and showed some desire to win.

Edwards? Well...he's playing for a spot on somebody's team next year. I suspect he will make it. He also has played for a spot on the Dirkie award list. And he's earned my Dirkie.

Honestly its hard to be mad at these dudes playing. They really gut it out. Klay has really REALLY impressed me of late. He's been balling out and shooting it well. Plus Kidd even made it a point to praise him for leading the group.

Still... in a season that feels SO lost due to injuries, it made too much sense to try and lose tonight. Thus the Mavs found a way to gut out a win. They have a good chance at sneaking into the play-in now. I'd rather the extra pingpong balls but if an opposing team decides to lose to these skeletal Mavs, that's on them.
