Truly pathetic of the mavs to throw out a fan for saying “fire nico”. Fat slob Dumont and his censorship and gambling don’t belong in Texas. Sell the team

Nico is soft.  Bailing on the post-trade conference, not in his usual seats at the first home game after the trade, and now this.

Exactly. Kidd is just trying to be professional in his last season as coach. Kyrie too. They will try until we’re out and be gone from the clown show this summer.

Dumont followed the team into the locker room. Kidd not having a press conference after the game because why? Let coach Dumont do it like Bill Simmons suggested

Dirk making a subtle statement showing his support for Luka over the Mavs

What a nightmare

Must be torturing for Cuban to be limited in ability to publicly speak out because of his NDA. He deserves it for selling to these clowns

These kind of things are just making it worse for them. Their PR trully sucks. Read somewhere head of PR was another person that had to leave Mavs after 20 years in 2024.

this franchise ain't the same it had been as soon as Cuban sold it. the luka trade just revealed it tbh. only a matter of time before it gets relocated and its name changed.

I was wondering what the booing was about. It was in the fourth quarter in a tight game. This has a chance to get really bad as a game day event.

The team is playing really hard. You just wonder if it is sustainable. Or they just crash eventually.

62 percent form the free throw line is not good. Exum going 0-4 really hurt.

Sounds like Cuban got into a shouting match as well with a fan.

"Mavericks star Kyrie Irving said he felt that Dallas fans have "graduated from hate to anger to the cycle of emotions ... and then the passion."

"You just got to give everybody grace," Irving said. "To see the emotions come out like that over basketball, that just shows you that basketball is not just a game to certain people. It's a spiritual experience. It's a connector piece, and they watch their favorite players and they want to see them forever. So, I run the side of just understanding where people are coming from." "

He did. Saw on twitter he told a dude who was chanting to fire Nico to shut the f up already.

This is insane. I feel like I’ve entered some bizarro world where up is down, wrong is right, and that it’s better to build to around a 32 year old injury prone star instead of a 25 year old mega super duper star.

Klay is being calm and honest tbh.

Kidd not doing a league mandated post-game presser?! Makes me think he got some bad news on AD and Gaff and didn't want to go out there with that on his mind after a hard-fought loss. If that's the case, he knows this season is over. Tough for any competitor to swallow.

lol Macmahon at it again.

What a disgusting article title and framing. Dude is legit Nico’s little boy as he is doing literally everything short of pulling his pants down for that guy.

Is having a sign that says “Fire Nico” derogatory? Are the Mavs trying to speed run blowing up this franchise?

I don’t get it.

While I don't want this to continue for the sake of our current players, I think the front office needed to hear it on this night. This kind of trade should never be seen as standard operating procedure. The people who have never lived through the history of Mavericks basketball before needed to it hear from the people who have. The owners need to know that their bottom line is at risk.

The press conference is curious. It may not be what we imagine. Kidd will have to answer that today I suspect.

Yeah, Kidd skipping out on the press conference is making me very curious and my alarm bells are going off.

Either he’s protesting this garbage too, AD+Gaff have bad injuries and he can’t answer those questions, or he’s out of here.

The Mavs have blown up this franchise faster than Enron.

On that last play by the Kings - please explain to me how that is a "step through"
He gathers, stops, sets both feet, defense collapses on him....then steps through the defense.
If he does this is a quick motion, I can understand...but he didn't.

How is that not a travel?

The same way the euro step is not a travel.  I always felt it should be.
