just wait til Luka averages a 35 point triple double for the next month (assuming he's actually healthy himself)

Don't worry boys, Nico was planning on a 2-3 year window so this is just a small hiccup in the grand scheme of things

One half really. He’s already missed 2 and a half games as a Mav. Now, 10+ incoming. He’s living up to the street clothes nickname quickly. It’s tough to stay positive. Time to lean into other hobbies.

What an awful week outside of two fun games. No need to rush anyone back. Get rid of the whole training staff. Just awful

Monday’s discussions, league sources tell the
@TheSteinLine, will be aimed at determining if the injury can be treated without surgery.

Anthony Davis expressed confidence Saturday that he did not suffer a setback after missing the past five games.

Re: Anthony Davis: The adductor muscles are more commonly known as the groin. A multi-week absence suggests a more moderate strain. Worth noting AD has a history of low-grade left adductor strains dating back to his time in New Orleans. He has also been nursing an abdominal strain that could be connected to this issue. According to @TheSteinLine
Dallas is still exploring treatment options.

I still am in total disbelief the Mavericks made *this* trade with this return at *this* time -- in the middle of the season right after the season when the guy you've concluded can't take you to the promised land led you to the Finals (two years after a WCF run).

If he were to miss a month, Davis could miss as many as 12 games, if not more.

Worth noting Dallas sits in eighth in the West, one loss ahead of the Kings – Monday's opponent – Warriors – Wednesday's opponent – and Suns, who all are tied from 9th to 11th in the conference.

He seems like a good guy. but this was always the fear with him which is why Nico acting like Pelinka had all the leverage never made sense. This season seems lost. Hope AD takes care of his health and doesn’t rush back.

Dallas Mavericks Injury Report vs. Sacramento Kings:

P.J. Washington: Questionable (Right Ankle Sprain)
Max Christie: Questionable (Right Shoulder Strain)
Danté Exum: Questionable (Left Achilles Tightness)
Anthony Davis: Out (Left Adductor Strain)
Caleb Martin: Out (Right Hip Strain)
Dereck Lively II: Out (Right Ankle Stress Fracture)
Dwight Powell: Out (Right Hip Strain)

Trading Casey Smith might have been a bad idea
Not very astute ^^^^

It's seriously time to consider the tank. It will probably happen organically, but resting Kyrie more would help.

Win now Davis out at least a month. And then it will happen again. What a joke. Harrison took a dump on the fans. Only way to salvage this disaster is a lottery win.

Nico really needed a strong voice in his orbit. So he lost faith in Luka and didn't think he would lead us back to the finals. Fine. Although that voice had to combat him thinking you could still win with this roster that was built around Luka. Nico has a lot invested in this roster and I am sure this played a major factor. Although, if you decide that Luka is not the guy, you pretty much have to decide the rest of the roster has to go too. Especially if the alternative is thinking you have 2-3 years to make it work with the team you are left with. What happens after that? Just malpractice.

They would just trade him for 37 year old Kevin Durant.

If Luka had to go, the trade needed to happen earlier in the season and we needed to tank out the next 2+ years. hell even better if we could get some pick control back in the blowup trades
what they ended up doing is just illogical and moronic. I can't even entertain their incorrect thought process
team killing
