LOL WHAT

Welp whoever said they were going to buy him out is dead to me. I'm shocked. Apparently they are still looking to trade him though.

Lonzo Ball is still trade-eligible despite extending with the Bulls.

His two-year, $20 million extension falls under his extend-and-trade limit.

Maybe they found out Harrison was interested and think they can get AD.

They drive a hard bargain but I will only agree if both Kyrie and AD are in the trade for Ball.

Otherwise its too unfair.

What a fraud Masai turned out to be. Directionless franchise.

That’s what happens with fans’ perception of GM’s.

Fluctuates wildly depending on the latest move.

Certain moves do tend to give a longer perception than others....

How can you be sure I wasn’t basing it in part on the trade to reacquire Poetl? They gave the Spurs the #8 pick in the 2024 draft and even threw in a two second round picks. The Spurs had already drafted Castle and were able to flip the #8 pick (Dillingham in a weak draft) for Minny’s 2031 unprotected and 2030 top-1 protected. The 2031 pick was one of those that just enabled them to trade for Fox.

Or letting FVV leave in FA for nothing. Or waiting too long to trade OG and Siakam. Or trading Norm Powell for Gary Trent Jr. Trading SA again a first round pick for a washed Thad Young who Nurse barely played. I’m sure there are others I’m forgetting. Instead of tanking properly they wound up with Dick in a loaded draft and Poetl instead of having another lottery pick or the asset, which turned out to be quite a good one for SA.
Looks like the big moves have been done, but there are still a lot of smaller things probably going to happen. I think these are the players that could be moved:
Atlanta: Bogi and Capella
Brooklyn: Cam Johnson, perhaps Claxton
Chicago: every remaining vet (Vucevic, White, flip of Collins, Huerter, Jones)
Charlotte: who knows. Okogie would be interesting for a lot of contenders, Micič perhaps
Indy: will they move any of their SG/SF?
Pels: is there Zion bomb waiting for us?, CJ (I doubt we will see much of these 20+ mil vets moved, contenders can't really get them, others don't need them), I think Javonte Green will be moved for a SRP or a younger player
Phoenix: Nurkic will be moved for whoever has a little cheaper salary than he does. They do have up to three picks to add
Portland: they have a bunch of interesting vets on a lottery team, but their asking prices seem to be unrealistic for 2 years now, as they never do anything
Toronto: Boucher?
Utah: Collins, Sexton, Clarkson, Schroeder are available
Washington: I doubt anyone will trade for Brogdon, Holmes or Bagley

Mark Williams (Charlotte) averages 16 points, 9.8 rebounds 2.5 assists 1.2 blocks.....is Luke's new teammate!

Rob Pelinka is the absolute winner of this trade window! Guess who's the absolute loser?

Nico is a terrorist! Angry

He’s been hurt more than he plays.  Chill - nothing we can do.  Lakers have trade all their 1st I think?  They have no other moves but buy outs.   Neither us or them or winning but they might go father.

Nothing we can do? Not sure if you missed the news earlier this week but we traded this guy who may go down as one of the best 10 basketball players to ever grace the planet and we didn’t get every asset from the Lakers while we did it.

Nico was just doing Rob a favor.

We have an ownership group that doesn’t care about basketball and a GM who either doesn’t understand the NBA or worse, does understand the NBA and doesn’t care about the Mavs.

The Orlando Magic reportedly contacted the Chicago Bulls about Coby White’s availability, per @IanBegley

“Orlando was among a group of teams talking to Chicago about Coby White earlier this week, per sources familiar with the matter.
