Trade & FA 2024-25:

He’s looked like the old Lonzo when he’s on the court, but he does avoid dicey circumstances.

Problem is, the bulls keep sitting him for knee management. Which makes me think he just can’t handle playing a lot of minutes or games.

Still, as a player, he’s still great.

I’m getting impatient. Where is the trade to fix this mess a little and show you’re serious about winning.

That’s the thing. There is no fixing this. Pandora’s box has been opened. The magnifying glass has been put on the team.

It’s up to Kyrie and AD to salvage this. Everyone else are the finishing touches.

IMO Simmons would be a great buyout signing. How much, however, do you think there’s an overlap with Naji?

Simmons is for all purposes a center at this point in his career that can handle the ball and facilitate. He’s a zero on offense. Even worse, teams actively leave him open to double others.

As a buyout guy the talent kind of outweighs the cost, but given his lack of drive, lack of availability, and really lack of any offensive game, it’s hard to see how he can fit on this roster.

Bruce Brown, Lonzo, heck even Bojan would make more sense now than Simmons. One thing Simmons has over all of these guys is that he could still defend whenever his back is feeling up to it.

Or get me Derick jones jr back from clippers.

Grimes/powell and naji can go.
AD must be built around like Giannis. Priority one is flipping one of the centers for a stretch 5. Two non shooting bigs doesn’t work in 2024. How many stretch 5s are available?

I disagree.  Look at how well CLE has made it work with Mobley and Allen.  I thought there was no way that'd work in today's NBA.  Look at the bubble championship.  AD played mainly PF with non-shooting centers (Howard and McGee).

We probably have one in DLive.  He’s just hurt.  The long-term plan HAS to be DLive and AD together with PJ at the 3.

Dang.

I'm trying to imagine the line of GM's knocking down the Wizard's door to offer assets for Marvin Bagley and Richaun Holmes.

Betting markets don’t mean anything…kinda. It’s weird seeing a lot of money come in for the wizards but also it doesn’t really have a bearing on if a trade is actually going to happen.

Are you sure that isn't a misprint? KD to the Wizards makes no sense. I also don't see Golden State on the list.
