The guy who gets bumped is PJ, but he’s so effective defensively against 1-4 that he can pretty easily slide to the 3.

I’m aware that he can and will play alongside other 5’s. Until Lively is back, he’ll definitely have to play five. Gafford won’t play 48 minutes and any lineup with PJ/Davis as the front court will have Davis as the 5.

I won't be surprised if they both get traded by the deadline. Obviously nobody is untouchable for Nico. That man should lose his job immediately and never be allowed back into the NBA. The fallout from the Mavs fan base is going to be like nothing the NBA has ever seen.
