Trade & FA 2024-25:
What a terrible fucking trade. Fuck this team
It's a real trade. I don't understand at all. Davis is 31.
Wot in tarnation
Anthony Davis, Max Christie and Utah #1 for a generational talent? Explain that please
Cannot be real
WHAT!??!!
I don’t even understand…

Did Luka ask out? But why AD and a 2029 first?
What the actual fuck
OMG that must be insane…

How can a generational talent be traded so cheap? I mean how many teams can find such a player in their history and he is now gone… for a 31 years old AD and trash? Teams get 4-5 frps for way lower caliber players???

There must definitely be something behind this. If it is not logical (I don’t really know how it can even be), I am done with this team.

Luka should be worth 6 number 1s. I'm sick about this. I may not ever watch this team again. I can't even understand their logic.
Via Tim MacMahon: The Mavs had major concerns about moving forward with Luka Doncic due to his constant conditioning issues and the looming commitment of another supermax contract extension this summer, sources told ESPN.

I completely understand that, but the return is garbage even though Davis is a great player. He's 31 and injury prone. This is clearly a win now move to play AD at the 4, but this is a sickening return. They could have received more going public with the trade.

Same reaction to that report…fine….i get it.

But maybe don’t take the first offer you get for your generational franchise player.  Getting one first round pick for Luka Doncic is pathetic.

The Mavericks approached the Lakers recently and offered Luka Doncic, sources tell ESPN. Lakers brass met and believed the 25-year-old Doncic has the ability to be the face of their franchise for the next decade while giving Anthony Davis a win-now move in Dallas.
Nico is either the dumbest person on the planet or a double agent. Even if you wanted a Luka for AD swap for some bizarre reason, there's no excuse not to extract every unprotected 1st and swap the Lakers had.

Silver needs to veto this.

If he works for the Lakers in two seasons we‘ll know. I would have considered the deal for Giannis, but definitely not for AD.

Excited to see how they match up with OKC now.

Seems like they’ve got size to stay with CLE, as well.

Oh, BTW, how many FRPs is AD worth? Three?

Is Max Christie worth an FRP?

I'm too mad to process this at the moment, but the Mavs are loaded with AD if he can stay healthy through the playoffs. I just wish AD was 3 or 4 years younger and not made of glass.

Do we even have a PG to run the offense? They’re gonna have to change the entire system mid season.
