It is tough to judge Marshall due to all the missed games. Need to be honest, I have been disappointed with his defense. Pretty average imo. We need that spot to be a really good defender. Impressed with his offense though.

Exum not taking that wide open 3 and proceeds to get manhandled by Ron Holland lost all momentum Mavs had in this quarter.

Holland and Sasser are so annoying, but dudes play hard.

Tonight’s game is the epitome of why Kidd will never have a successful regular season. Season circling the drain. Must win game against a weak opponent. He comes out with the most chaotic rotation I’ve seen yet. The new big GLeague stiff shouldn’t play a second of meaningful minutes. He was -10 in the 6 competitive minutes tonight. No theory or even apparent goal to win this late season game. Just more experimentation. What a colossal waste of a season. We need a new coach badly.

So,I had to run out but grimes got no more playing time…even in mop up duty? Is he hurt? It won’t surprise me if he is moved. Personally I have liked his game more than Marshall. Team thinks otherwise though.

They’re better, just not good. Winnable game. The Mavs may well have lost even if they give an honest effort, but it’s coaching malpractice to play this one like it’s preseason.
