Does the Heat have an interest in Julius Randle?
Won't matter if they do. There's no realistic way to a salary match for Butler to Minn since the Wolves are an over Apron 2 team.

De'Aaron Fox will sign a contract with two teams: Sacramento or San Antonio.

I think Castle will be apart of that deal. Maybe even Vassell too for contract matching purposes.
I do think Fox and Wemby is a good enough pairing to at least be competitive in this West. Which is saying something.

I’m not a huge Fox guy but he would fit well with Wemby. And San Antonio needs to do something to take a major step forward.

Certainly smarter than trading for Porzingass as a reliable 36MPG 2nd option. He´s perfect for Boston as a 5th option.

Don’t the Spurs have a lot of picks to trade?
Not sure I’d be trading Castle and Vassell.

They have a lot of picks, but none projected to be really good. Their own, Atlanta, Charlotte and Chicago top 10/15 protected (and convert to crap eventually I think). They ´d have to give Sacramento some immediate gratification. Plus you also have to consider this from Castle´s perspective. Between Fox and CP3 he´d barely get minutes, whereas on the Kings he´s the guaranteed starter.

"The Kings, so far in conversations with all those teams, they've said they want win-now players. They want draft capital as well."

The Kings prefer to trade De’Aaron Fox now instead of waiting until the offseason to recoup maximum value in return, per @ShamsCharania.
Fox could still tell Sacramento he won’t re-sign, which would significantly decrease his value on the trade market then as an expiring deal.

I am just not a fan of the Mavs doing anything at the deadline. Backup PF is still an issue. Although it may not be a big issue unless PJ got hurt. If that happened, we are really limited. Trey Lyles is an expiring at 8 million. He would be one of my targets. Just not sure a trade makes sense.
BTW this is way to early. I have liked what I have seen from Edwards. If Dallas makes no trades and no clear upgrade is available on the buyout market, I would be interested in exploring waiving Morris and signing Edwards for the playoffs. That may open a can of worms off the court and Edwards needs to continue to show he can play. I have liked his defense though and think he would b move valuable than Morris at this stage.

I agree. I would not commit to any silly deals. We have all these injuries, but it´s not really rocket science. If Luka had his butt in peak condition, we´d be totally fine even with all the other issues.
Kyrie, Grimes and Hardy are shooting 40% from three for the season now. Klay is at 39%. Washington at a good 36% for him. Gafford is motivated by starting again, which is good for now. Omax is shooting better than Maxi from three 29% vs. 28%.

Supposedly, the team to watch in a Fox deal
is Houston.

If we could be a second or third team and get Eason in the trade...

Gafford+Naji+2 FRPs is probably the starting point of negotiations. Probably OMax too.
