Game 47: Washington Wizards (6-38) vs. Dallas Mavericks (24-22) | 7:30pm CST

Johnny Davis might be the most forgettable non-factor lottery pick I've ever seen play.

Mavs tend to look better when hitting almost all of their shots, while playing an inferior team that isn't. Gives us a respite from hypothetically trading Maxi.

Olivier-Maxence Prosper on bringing nonstop energy while also being ready to make open looks:

“This is kind of like what I need to do. Rebound and all that stuff. And now when I get the shot, it’s just about calming myself down. This is the player that I am. This is how I’ve always done it…It’s all about conditioning and then you put out this energy and now you’re open, knock it down and calm yourself down in that moment…You gotta always bring that energy no matter what.”

Olivier-Maxence Prosper on how Dereck Lively II has helped him in this recent stretch:

“Me and him are real close. To see him supporting me from the sideline. This guy, whenever I go out there and I first check in, this guy is like take a deep breath, be you. He knows the work I put in. He sees the hours I put in behind the scenes…Anytime I come out, I turn down a three, he’s like shoot the three! You’re open…He wants me to be great…”

This is amazing to read. How can you not root for Lively and O-Max?

I often think about what a fully advanced Lively looks like and now I'm starting to wonder what a grown up O-Max could be.  I'm really hoping for a Pascal Siakam type elevation. Both guys are around the same size. Started off with a mostly defensive profile. Look at Pascal's numbers his first few years and its not impressive. He really made a leap in year 3 at age 24 (won most improved player award).

O-Max came into the league a year younger so i could see year 4 really being the blow up year. Exciting since we're only in the middle of year 2.

Gawd, our lives would be so much better if OMax could replace Maxi.
