I´m done with Kidd. Games like this just show that he´s not good enough. He gives all of Kleber´s minutes to Gafford and all of Gafford´s minutes to Lively we win by 30. Instead we lose this game via Kleber being -26 in 20 minutes. Fucking idiot kept him in the game after calling a timeout in the 4th, so the Nuggets could score another six points.

Kleber was a disaster. They should just take him out of the rotation. I’d rather see Powell at the 4. I thought the Mavs had them but they’ve just got too many problems. If they lose all these games, I’d just assume they tank. The NBA is going to hammer road playoff teams anyway.

Kleber has a PER of 4? WTF. Shooting 26% from the three? It’s coaching malpractice to have someone like that in the rotation. An average G leaguer could beat that. It’s sickening if you’re a Mavs fan.

I'm not saying Maxi was good this game, but you are using single game net rating to explain he was so bad.  You realize Maxi actually has the third best net rating on the team this season?  He was not the difference of 26 points in this game, and Lively was in foul trouble.

I wasn't able to watch the game. You knew if it was close late, the short handed Mavs weren't going to pull it out against Jokic and denver. It is a shame. It looked like they played real well for 3 quarters. Looks like an awful 4th. 12 points?

8 shots for LIvely. Again, short handed, I want to get him more looks.

Games like this makes me wonder what the team things about Grimes. It looks like he had a rough game, but only had 19 minutes. I think, especially shorthanded, that he should get close to 30 minutes a game. To see him with 19 and only 4 shots is curious.

Gafford struggles without Luka. Probably both centers, but Gafford is in a little bit of a rut lately. Need to get him going.

Maxi is a hot hand type of player. Do I trust him in the playoffs? Not sure I can say that now. Especially if something happened to PJ. That is still a really big hole with the roster. With Omax apparantly not ready, I wonder if they look for insurance. Nothing flashy, but just a veteran who may be able to deliver a good 15 minutes.

You're not going to beat many teams scoring 12 pts in the 4th qtr, and giving up 33. Mavs had at least an 11 pt lead in the 3rd qtr.

Didn't watch the game -- but this stood out on the box scores.

SD had 5 attempts in the fourth quarter and missing 2 3s and a 2.
Grimes had no attempts.

Din had 10 assists with only 2 TOs while Grimes had no assist with 4 TOs.

Spencer was 4 of 13 from the field and was 0 for 3 on 3.
Grimes only had 4 attempts overall with a single conversion of 3 attempts.

Spencer had 39 mins against Grimes' 19.

Of course the Mavs needed a ball handler, and Din is. IMHO, the Mavs could do without one for stretches as there are enough ballhandlers on the team who can ably secure the ball on plays. Din had 10 assists, but he should have sticked with the ball handling and facilitating duties rather than calling his own number. If the Mavs needed points, Kidd should realize than Grimes > Dinwiddie.

Summary: Too many minutes and attempts for Dinwiddie, and wat too less minutes and attempts for Grimes.

Of course -- this is what you would expect from the less than mediocre Jason Kidd.
