The cup games have been entertaining but almost all of the court designs have been HORRID! Sick

They really need to do something about those for next season.

Mavs defense took a bit of a step back.

So supposedly Marshall didn't practice the other day. He is still dealing with his illness. I don't know what was more impressive, him being one of our best players first game back when he wasn't over his illness. Or, this illness still kicking his butt.

The Dallas Mavericks added an injury designation for Maxi Kleber. In addition to being listed out against the Golden State Warriors with an illness, he has a fractured rib.

Is it mean to think he had a heavy cough that caused to fracture a rib. Cry

Odd injury report. Maxi is getting shots up Friday after practice, and doing conditioning work (running sprints) on Saturday, while he supposedly has a fractured rib. That's not how fractured ribs tend to work.

It really depends on pain tolerance and whether or not Maxi can breathe while he works out. If he has a hairline rib fracture, he’d probably feel nothing while working out. If he has no pain, even when his rib is pressed on, then he can workout.

But given that he still has to heal, they are going to keep away from contact to avoid a more serious fracture. At least that’s how I read it. This will probably keep him out a month, depending on how bad the fracture is.

Blessing in disguise? If it means Omax in the rotation and never looking back.

That means without him we‘re 1-5. Do we have a PJ problem?

I found a whole article underlining his importance to our team:

I'd say it means he's about to get paid a lot more than he is now. Well, after next season, anyway.

Jason Kidd said Luka Doncic (left heel contusion) and Kyrie Irving (right shoulder soreness) did not practice today.

Naji Marshall (illness) and Maxi Kleber (illness; fractured rib) returned to practice.

I have been sick for the last 9 days with the worst cough I've ever had.  3 days ago got a horrible shooting pain on my right side after a coughing fit.  Had a doctors appointment that same day anyway and he was ordering a chest X-Ray already.  Told him about the pain, so they took a look since they were doing X-Rays anyway and I have a fractured rib.

I don't know what the hell this mystery illness the Mavs have had and I don't know what the hell I've had either.  Negative Covid, Flu and Strep tests.  If it's anything similar, I 100% understand why guys have missed games!

Gotta say...I find this exciting. Moving farther and farther away from the Cuban era, and in a direction that seems more legit.

More like re-paying Cuban´s misconduct penalty. Though I´m not sure how I feel about a 71 year old hire. Hopefully he doesn´t do a Phil Jackson.
