Can’t really complain when he’s clearly outplaying Luka. I mean, it’s not close.

Well it is no secret. If you turn the ball over a lot, you have very little chance to beat OKC. Mavs have typically been a low turnover team for years, but they have had a rough patch. The faster pace will make you turn it over more. They just need to tighten it up. Against most teams they may be able to overcome. Very little chance against Boston and OKC.

I will say, this is yet another game where the Mavs are without PJ and they look like a completely different team. In terms of physicality, shooting, rebounding, everything.

Did any one catch what Kidd said on the hot mic? Something about playing soft man to man when we are in zone? On that first Joe 3 I wonder if Grimes or Lively was in the wrong coverage?

I hope this puts an end to any talk of Luka for MVP. He’s clearly not on the same level of SGA, let alone Jokic. I honestly think it might be in the teams best interest, and his, to let that go for a few years.

Just getting our ass beat tonight. Oh well.

Frankly I expected playoff intensity from Luka tonight. Unfortunately he is taking it as a mid week December game. Not sure it would have mattered though. OKC is clearly better tonight. Mavs need to rethink how they attack this team

Kyrie and Luka selling tonight. OKC is a better team. So much defense. Mavs either turn it over or shoot an awkward off balance shot. Not much squaring up. But, WTF is Kidd doing switching the center rotation again?

I think soft help.  Unfortunatley he lost Joe who relocated to the other side.

Yeah I'm trying to figure that out. I think Lively has to stunt there but quickly recover to fill in space. Something he didn't do. Kidd told Grimes he played it right.

Pretty bananas that O-Max has somehow been one of the Mavs’ five best players tonight.

Mavs aren't even doing that bad in terms of contesting. The Thunder are just hitting the shots.

I think if Maxi or PJ were available we'd have seen them start the 3rd and 4th.
