Trying out my new HD antenna tonight. Turns out I can get like 60 channels that way, including KFAA.

How is the stream working for everyone? Mine is TERRIBLE. Glitchy, low res, buffering. Totally unwatchable. I’m getting 61 Mbps download so is that good enough?

61mbps is more than enough for any stream. Seems like the Mavs were more unprepared and didn't have the bandwidth to accommodate everyone.

I also was able to get HD TV to my computer...but I had to jump through a lot of hoops to do it. It would have been easier if I was directly watching through a TV. And, yes, it was very low res. I had to fall back to one of my backup methods. Using a Directv app through Roku on my computer didn't work. Couldn't find it on Youtube TV. I'm working out of Waco, Tx...Kcen. Turns out I may need to use Kcen-tv. I can get at least 8 different stations with 56 different channels out of the Waco/Temple/Belton area. An interesting experiment...frustrating...I haven't given up yet. EDIT: YouTube TV has a lot of hidden channels. You have to go to setup and choose for any of those channels you would like to add to the "live" broadcasts. For me...one of those was Kcen. I'll see how it works next time. |
