No options on deal. Bridges’ agent Rich Paul of @KlutchSports finalized a deal with Hornets’ front office today to bring Bridges back with a core of LaMelo Ball and Brandon Miller.

Welp, so much for being cancelled. Thought he nuked his career.

This is the kind of deal that non-superstar players should get. Not 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55M deals.

Just because teams can pay someone a max doesn't mean they should. Max contracts are supposed to be guides, not the norm and not must-dos. Hopefully the new CBA helps more teams understand this... but then again, the Magic just gave Franz Wagner 5-years @ 225-270M. :dumbstruck:

That´s probably cause he doesn´t bash the head of his girlfriends in. To me Bridges seems like a guy you can easily stop in the play-offs. It´s just that he plays on Charlotte, so nobody gives a crap and he gets to average a tidy 21/7.

Haha, you may have a point there. Tongue

Btw, I like Franz Wagner. I don't like him $225-270M much though.

Big year for a lot of Hornets. Lamelo needs to show he can be a top level player...and play games. Season 3 for Mark Williams. Can Miller make the jump. Can Josh and Grant find solid roles. Etc. I expect they are going to be bad, but they need to start showing progress.
