Are we talking about IVISIC or SHARP for this year? I couldn't tell from this thread.
That ship sailed a month ago for Ivisic. He followed Calapari to play at Arkansas. He will likely be a high draft pick next year ... but he's not available now.

Regarding Sharp…it is crazy how good you have to be just to be a college player. Second highlights make everyone look good. He looks like a first rounder in those highlights. Only to see he average 3 points and 4 rebounds as a three year college player last year. He sort of reminds me of that Michigan state big man we brought to summer league last year. He has some unique skills with minimal production in college. When you watched him in summer league you realized he wasn’t a pro player. I imagine the same with Sharp. Bring him in though. Look under every rock.

Yeah they should have been talking to Zvonomir prior to the draft to see what he had in terms of interest for playing here. Gafford should get a word to him about the mavs if he is at ARK. I like his 3 pointer.
Sharp appears to be a defensive force that can move his feet as good as anyone to make up distance when a driving guard turns the corner to get beyond him. That ability to make up ground and block the shot from behind is what makes him special and if Lively can start to play as a stretch five then what happens if he tried to take that ability over to the 4 just like Dirk and then we just add Sharp in slowly over time to put in a 7'5" shot blocking talent to develop next to a 7'1 PF that can hit 3's

big men take longer to develop it may be a few years away that he shows he is a player who can do the job. That much is something we can all agree on and nobody can know the future so that is why we have Frisco. At worst he plays to develop as the tallest player in the league and he sells some tickets and provides us with insurance against injuries. Bring him up as a 2 way and let him get a taste of the real games and see if he can improve his game over the course of a season. If progress is achieved at worst you have an asset worth using in trade.

Zvonimir Iviscic.
What would keep us from talking him into signing as an undrafted player this offseason?
He's not undrafted, he never was eligible to be drafted as it seems (pulled out 22 and 23 per wikipedia, not on the list for 24). So he's currently not eligible to play in the NBA.

Frist summer league roster I have seen from PHilly. Morey always gets interesting guys.
Undrafted guy from last year in Ricky Council. (They had another one from NC state last year...I wonder what happened to him. They have their draft picks, plus their two way guy in Justin Edwards. A few undrafted guys in Judah Mintz and David Jones. A RJ hampton sighting. Former legends Tony Bradley. Former first in Romeo Langford. They do a good job throwing stuff at the wall.

Council would have been a 1st round draft pick had he not been injured during his year in college. He's going to figure it out eventually much like Isaiah Joe finally did.

Killian Hayes should be desperate for an opportunity to prove that he belongs in the NBA. Was just cut from the olympics roster.

OH!
That's a fantastic name. Wow, I totally forgot about Killian Hayes. Crazy how 3 months is long enough to be completely forgotten in the NBA universe.
Mavs supposedly had interest in the past when THJ's name was floated in trades.
I'd love to see him on the SL team.

Hayes is an interesting name for the last spot. Probably wouldn't be expecting minutes that Dinwiddie or DSJ may be looking for. He is just looking for a spot to gain some kind of footing in the NBA.

Don't know much about many of the non Mavs guys. Looks a little boring though. I guess I watch for Omax and see Melvin play though.

strike that...I know a little bit about Emmanuel Miller too. I wonder where the guards Mike Myles and Jelly wound up. I know Fudge was on a two way late in the year, but I am not sure if he deserves a two way spot. This summer will be big for him. We should have at least one...maybe two spots available with two ways.

The #Mavs have revealed their 2024 Summer League roster.
The team is highlighted by Olivier-Maxence Prosper and AJ Lawson, two-way players Brandon Williams and Alex Fudge, along with new second-round pick Melvin Ajinca.
Assistant Jared Dudley will coach the team.

This Jarod Lucas out of Nevada shoots almost 40% from the 3-point line and shot almost 90% of his free throws in college. As a high school senior, he averaged a ridiculous 39 points per game! Played college ball at Oregon State and Nevada.
Probably can't play a lick of defense

IF OMAX shows out, we may have solved the POA defender issue already.
Luka
Kyrie
Klay
Omax
Lively
This moves me.

LOL, Isaiah Whaley. The world is small ...
He played for my home team in Heidelberg, Germany last season. I even met him once in the supermarket next to my home
Nice guy, high energy center with a bit of a jumpshot, but way undersized for the NBA imo.

6'9" 225 lbs. Not big enough for you? You have a high bar.
